Rufus King's Zeise Named MCC Student-Athlete of the Week (Sept. 2)
Logan Zeise (Rufus King High School) was named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of August 24-30.
Zeise led the charge for the Generals’ boys cross country team, which finished third among the 29 teams competing at the Hoehnke-Hill Milwaukee River Invite at Veterans Park on Thursday, Aug. 28. Zeise finished first among all boys runners, posting a 15:33 time to set a new Rufus King school record.
Zeise was a first-team all-conference honoree in 2024, and was the only freshman runner in the state of Wisconsin to finish in the top 60 at the WIAA Division-1 state meet (21st overall).
