King’s Smith and North’s Nulls Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (March 30)

Taniya Smith (Rufus King High School) and Princess Nulls (North Division High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of March 22-28.

Smith won both the 55-meter and 200-meter events at the Blue Devils Dash Invite on Thursday, March 26, leading Rufus King to a first-place team finish. The junior has earned all-conference honors three times, as a member of the winning 4×100-meter relay team in her freshman and sophomore seasons and the 4×200-meter relay team in 2024-25.

Nulls also swept the 55-meter and 200-meter dashes earlier in the week, claiming the top spot in both events at the Knights Open Invite. The sophomore’s first-place finishes were key in North Division’s team win.
