On Friday, Feb. 13, Rufus King girls wrestling took first place in the WIAA regionals meet at Brown Deer High School.

Nine student-athletes qualified for regionals, and seven advanced to compete at the WIAA sectionals meet, including Leilani Ferrer, Jai Thornton, Taliayah Jackson, Neyonda Galloway, Terryn Mcbride, Johanna Johnson, and Olivia Jones.

Rufus King will compete in the WIAA sectionals meet on Friday, Feb. 20 at Kenosha Bradford. Weigh-in begins at 3 p.m. The first session begins at 4 p.m.
